equip 326521 — 8-Port Cat.6A Shielded Desktop Patch Panel, Light Grey
Cat.6A shielded8 portsDesktopLight Grey RAL 7035
The equip 326521 is a 8-port Cat.6A shielded patch panel for the desk or shelf — it needs no rack. Installation cable is terminated on the back on dual IDC blocks that accept both LSA and 110 punch-down tools, and each port presents a shielded RJ45 socket at the front for patch cables. equip specifies Class EA performance up to 500 MHz for 10GBase-T, compliance with ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, ANSI/TIA/EIA 568, and T568A/T568B colour coding on every port. With eight ports it is the right size for a small office, a lab bench or a home office where a handful of installation cables arrive at one desk or shelf and need proper RJ45 ports. The body is sturdy steel in light grey (RAL 7035), and the ports are numbered for clear labelling.
Compatibility — check before buying:
A termination panel, not a switch: the back takes solid installation cable (punch-down), the front takes RJ45 patch cables — you still need a switch. You also need a punch-down tool for LSA or 110 blocks; equip does not include one. Desktop panel: it has no rack ears and is not for 10″ or 19″ cabinets; the 12-port desktop panel covers the other case. Shielding only works end-to-end with shielded cable, shielded patch cords and a grounded installation. Not sure what fits your cabling? Tell us the cable type and the number of runs and we check it.

Singular Expert Insight
We suggest the 8-port desktop panel where only a few installation cables end in one place and a rack would be overkill — a small office, a reception desk, a home studio. Place it next to the switch and patch with short Cat.6A cables. Browse more patch panels and keystone parts, network cables or network switches. Local support in Cyprus comes with every order.
