The Equip 8-outlet C13 power distribution unit is a 19-inch 1U aluminium rack PDU with eight IEC C13 outlets and an IEC C14 input, built to power servers, switches, storage and other rack equipment that use standard IEC power cords — typically fed from a rack UPS.
It is rated 10 A / 2,500 W at 250 V, has an ON/OFF switch, a silver aluminium housing and a 1.8 m H05VV-F 3G 1.5 mm² cable with C14 plug. A screw kit and a quick installation guide are included.
Before you order: Both ends are IEC: the C14 plug connects to a C13 outlet on a UPS or another PDU, and devices connect with C14-to-C13 (kettle-type) cords. No household plugs fit — neither UK nor Schuko.

What It Means in Practice
- Mounts horizontally in one 1U slot of a 19" rack or cabinet, so power sits next to the equipment it feeds instead of on the cabinet floor.
- Servers, switches and storage with C14 inlets connect with short C13-to-C14 cords — no bulky plugs or adapters in the rack.
- Plug the C14 lead into a UPS C13 outlet so all eight outlets are UPS-backed.
- Keep the total under 2,500 W and under the rating of the UPS outlet feeding it.
What Will Not Work
- Plugging into a wall socket — the input is an IEC C14 plug.
- Devices with UK or Schuko plugs — the outlets are IEC C13 only.
- C19/C20 high-current equipment — those need a C19 PDU.
- Loads above 10 A / 2,500 W in total.
