Equip 128889 Coiled USB-C to USB-C Cable, 90° Plug — 60 W, 1 m
USB 2.0480 Mbit/sPD 60 WCoiled · 90°
The Equip 128889 is a 1 m coiled USB-C to USB-C cable with one 90° angled plug, up to 480 Mbit/s (USB 2.0 Hi-Speed) data transfer and USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A), made for connecting USB-C laptops, phones, tablets and accessories directly to each other or to a USB-C charger.
At 480 Mbit/s this is a charge-and-sync cable: right for phones, tablets, game controllers, keyboards, mice, headsets, e-readers and small USB-C gadgets. Copying a few photos or a document is fine; moving hundreds of gigabytes is not what it is for.
USB-C cables look alike but differ in three ways: data speed (from 480 Mbit/s up to 40 Gbit/s), power (60 W, 100 W or 240 W) and video support. This one is 480 Mbit/s with USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A) — check those two numbers against what your device needs.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Equip USB 2.0 C to C 90° angled coiled cable, 1.0 m
What It Means in Practice
- Length 1 m (as published for the coiled cable): reaches from a car socket, counter charger or desk charger to a device you hold.
- Power: USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A). The charger and the device negotiate the actual wattage; the cable only sets the upper limit.
- The coiled design stays compact and springs back — handy in a car, at a POS counter or on a workbench where a loose cable gets in the way. The 90° plug keeps the cable flat against the device.
- Put the 90° end into the phone, tablet or handheld and the straight end into the charger.
- Plug-and-play: no driver needed on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android or iPadOS.
What Will Not Work
- No 100 W or 240 W charging: laptops that ship with a 90–140 W charger will charge slowly or show a low-power warning.
- Not a Thunderbolt 4/5 or USB4 cable — docks and eGPU enclosures that require Thunderbolt/USB4 will not work at full function.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I charge a laptop with it?
Yes, if the laptop charges over USB-C Power Delivery and its charger fits within the cable rating (PD 60 W). A laptop that needs more than that will charge more slowly or warn about a low-power charger.
Does the cable carry video?
No video support is published for this cable, so do not plan on using it for a monitor; use a cable rated for DisplayPort Alt Mode or 4K video instead.
Which end goes where?
Electrically it works either way round. Practically, put the 90° angled plug on the device you hold, so the cable runs along its side instead of sticking out.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A coiled, angled USB-C cable solves a specific problem: charging a phone, tablet or handheld while you hold it, or in a car or at a counter, without a metre of loose cable. With 60 W Power Delivery it also handles small laptops. For a charger to pair it with, see our
laptop power supplies.
✓ Buy it if you want a tidy coiled USB-C cable for a car, counter or handheld console, with up to 60 W.
✕ Skip it if you need a straight cable that lies flat on a desk, or more than 60 W.
→ Also consider If the device needs more than this cable carries, step up to a 100 W or 240 W e-marked USB-C cable; for monitors, a cable rated for 4K video.
