Equip USB-C to RJ45 Gigabit Network Adapter with 100W USB PD
Gigabit Ethernet100W PD pass-throughUSB 3.2 Gen 1Wake-on-LAN
The Equip 133486 is a USB-C to RJ45 Gigabit network adapter with a USB-C Power Delivery input, so a laptop can get a 10/100/1000 Mbps wired connection and up to 100 W of charging through the same USB-C port. It is made for ultrabooks and MacBooks with one or two USB-C ports, where a plain network adapter would block the charging port.
It connects over USB 3.2 Gen 1, supports Wake-on-LAN, 802.1Q VLAN tagging with 2 VLAN ID filtering and 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet, and comes in a black aluminium housing with a 25 cm cable. Equip lists it as plug-and-play.
Before you order: You supply the charger: plug your laptop's own USB-C PD power adapter into the PD port. Equip notes that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 cannot charge and use the network at the same time.
What's in the Box
- 1 x Equip 133486 USB-C to RJ45 Gigabit network and 100W USB PD adapter with 25 cm cable
- Quick installation guide
- No charger and no network cable included
What It Means in Practice
- On a single-port laptop you keep charging and get wired LAN from the same USB-C port
- Up to 100 W PD pass-through covers most ultrabooks and many 14–16 inch business laptops (the adapter uses a small share of the power itself)
- Wake-on-LAN and VLAN support suit managed office networks
- A wired Gigabit connection gives steadier video calls and faster uploads than busy Wi-Fi
What Will Not Work
- It does not include a charger — without a USB-C PD power adapter connected, it works as a network adapter only
- It will not charge laptops that do not accept USB-C PD charging
- It does not reach more than 1 Gbps, even on a 2.5GbE switch
- It will not fit USB-A-only computers, and it has no extra USB-A ports or video output

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my laptop charge at full speed?
With a PD charger of up to 100 W, most laptops charge normally. The adapter itself uses a little of that power, so a 100 W charger delivers slightly less to the laptop.
Can I use my phone charger?
Only if it is a USB-C PD charger. A low-wattage phone charger will not keep a laptop charged under load.
Does it work on a MacBook?
Yes. Equip lists macOS support, and it works on USB-C and Thunderbolt ports of MacBook models.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The 133486 solves the most common single-port problem: you need wired LAN and power at the same time. If you also need extra USB-A ports or an external monitor, a USB-C hub or
docking station is the better fit. For 2.5GbE networks, a 2.5G adapter is faster but will not pass charge through.
✓ Buy it if your laptop has only one or two USB-C ports and you need wired Gigabit plus charging from the same port.
✕ Skip it if you need 2.5GbE, extra USB ports or video output.
→ Also consider DIGITUS DN-3024 (plain USB-C Gigabit adapter) or a USB-C docking station.
