Equip 128361 USB-C to USB-C Cable — 5 Gbit/s, 1 m
USB 3.2 Gen 15 Gbit/sPD 60 W1 m
The Equip 128361 is a 1 m USB-C to USB-C cable with up to 5 Gbit/s (USB 3.2 Gen 1) data transfer and USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A), made for connecting USB-C laptops, phones, tablets and accessories directly to each other or to a USB-C charger.
At 5 Gbit/s the cable is fast enough for external hard drives, SATA SSD enclosures, USB 3 card readers and most portable storage, so backups and large copies run at the speed of the drive rather than being held back by the cable.
USB-C cables look alike but differ in three ways: data speed (from 480 Mbit/s up to 40 Gbit/s), power (60 W, 100 W or 240 W) and video support. This one is 5 Gbit/s with USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A) — check those two numbers against what your device needs.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Equip USB 3.2 Gen 1 C to C cable, 1.0 m, white
What It Means in Practice
- Length 1 m: the everyday desk length — reaches from a computer or charger to a device on the same desk or bedside table.
- Power: USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A). The charger and the device negotiate the actual wattage; the cable only sets the upper limit.
- Symmetrical: either end can go into the charger or the device.
- Plug-and-play: no driver needed on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android or iPadOS.
What Will Not Work
- No 100 W or 240 W charging: laptops that ship with a 90–140 W charger will charge slowly or show a low-power warning.
- Not a Thunderbolt 4/5 or USB4 cable — docks and eGPU enclosures that require Thunderbolt/USB4 will not work at full function.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I charge a laptop with it?
Yes, if the laptop charges over USB-C Power Delivery and its charger fits within the cable rating (PD 60 W). A laptop that needs more than that will charge more slowly or warn about a low-power charger.
Does the cable carry video?
No video support is published for this cable, so do not plan on using it for a monitor; use a cable rated for DisplayPort Alt Mode or 4K video instead.
Does it matter which end goes where?
No. Both ends are identical USB-C plugs, and USB-C itself decides which side is the power source.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
5 Gbit/s plus 60 W Power Delivery makes this a sensible all-round USB-C cable: it charges phones, tablets and ultrabooks and still moves files to a USB-C SSD at a useful speed. Equip does not publish video support, so do not buy it to run a monitor. For storage to pair it with, see our
external SSDs.
✓ Buy it if you want one 1 m USB-C cable for 60 W charging and 5 Gbit/s transfers.
✕ Skip it if you need to connect a USB-C monitor or charge a laptop above 60 W.
→ Also consider If the device needs more than this cable carries, step up to a 100 W or 240 W e-marked USB-C cable; for monitors, a cable rated for 4K video.
