This is the wall-mounted sit-stand arm from Ergotron’s LX range: half a metre of vertical travel on a Constant Force counterbalance, so one screen serves a person standing at a bench and the same person sitting at it. Part number 45-353-026 is the polished aluminium version with the 3.2 to 11.3 kg capacity option. It takes a display up to 43 in, folds back over its own base when the wall has to be clear, and carries a ten-year manufacturer term on a lift mechanism tested to 10,000 cycles.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the capacity option first. This part number is the 3.2 to 11.3 kg version; Ergotron builds the same arm in a 6.4 to 13.6 kg option under a different code, so a heavier display needs the other part. The 3.2 kg minimum is real — a very light panel will not hold position on a counterbalanced arm. Mounting interface is VESA 100 x 100, 75 x 75, 200 x 100 and 200 x 200 only; 400 mm patterns need the separate VESA Bracket Adaptor Kit 97-759. The arm attaches directly to sturdy vertical surfaces and, where applicable, to a wood stud; on a hollow wall it can be fitted to Ergotron Wall Track using bracket 97-091, ordered separately. One practical point Ergotron raises: a computer mounted on this arm may need extra-long USB, power and video cables to span the full sit-to-stand range.

Key Features
Half a metre of vertical travel
50.8 cm of lift is what turns one wall-mounted screen into both a standing and a seated workstation. Constant Force counterbalance moves it with one hand and holds it wherever it is left, with no gas cylinder to repressurise.
Folds back over its own base
When the wall or the bench has to be cleared, the arm folds back across the base into a compact retracted position — the same trick as the HX desk arms, and the reason it suits narrow corridors and equipment bays.
Rotation stop protects the wall
A rotation stop on the wall-mount base limits the extension-to-base joint to 180°, so the arm cannot be swung far enough to strike the wall behind it. Locking connections between arm, extension and base also deter theft and resist knocks.
Theft-deterrent anchor holes
The base includes anchor holes for cable locks — worth having on a public-facing or shared position, and not something most wall arms provide.
