The black MAESTRO PLUS 62DA is a complete dual-tower CPU air cooler with a 120mm fan. It transfers processor heat through six direct-touch heatpipes to a fin stack, where the fan moves it into the case airflow. Its digital top panel shows CPU temperature, CPU usage and RAM usage; XPG PRIME adds data logging and graphs. It installs inside a desktop PC on a supported Intel or AMD socket.
Before you order:
Check the CPU socket, at least 160mm cooler-height clearance and space around memory and motherboard components. Plan the 4-pin PWM, 3-pin 5V ARGB and internal 9-pin USB connections, and check current XPG PRIME system requirements for the monitoring functions. The 250W TDP figure is a manufacturer capacity claim, not a guarantee for every 250W processor or case.
What It Means in Practice
- For an AM5 build, first confirm the case clearance and mounting requirements, then connect the fan control, lighting and USB monitoring interfaces according to the installation instructions. Use the temperature display and PRIME graphs to observe the system under your own workload.
What Will Not Work
- It cannot replace a laptop cooling assembly or fit an unsupported socket. The 5V ARGB connection must match the motherboard header; a different lighting connector is not established as compatible.
