The Fellowes AutoMax 90M is an auto-feed paper shredder: you drop up to 90 sheets of A4 into the tray, close the lid and it shreds them by itself into 4 x 12 mm mini-cut particles at DIN 66399 level P-4, collecting them in a 17 L pull-out bin — made for a home office or small office where one person shreds regularly.
Fellowes states that 90 sheets take about 5 minutes. A separate 9-sheet manual slot handles the odd letter or a credit card without opening the tray. Each A4 page becomes about 1,299 particles, roughly three times more secure than a standard cross-cut.
Before you order: Run time is up to 10 minutes, then 40 minutes cool-down. Fellowes gives a maximum daily use of 600 sheets and 10 cards — it is a one-user SOHO machine, not a department shredder.
