Fellowes’ ergonomics flagship: a gas-spring dual arm with 280 mm of height movement, two USB 3.0 ports in the base and FIRA International certification to BS EN ISO 9241 — an independent ergonomics assessment that very few monitor arms carry.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Two published numbers decide whether this suits you, and the first is unusual: the load range is 1.5 to 8 kg per screen, so there is a minimum as well as a maximum. Below 1.5 kg the gas spring has too little to work against and the arm rises on its own — that catches very light panel-only displays. Maximum screen size is 32 inches per the part-number specification sheet; Fellowes’ series page mentions 40 inches, but that figure belongs to another model in the range and we publish the sheet for this part number. The two USB 3.0 Type-A ports are rated 0.5 A; Fellowes does not publish whether they are powered or pass-through, nor whether an upstream cable is supplied, so assume you may need one and tell us. Fixing is clamp for desks 5 to 80 mm or grommet for 10 to 85 mm. VESA is 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm with release plates that let each screen be hung one-handed. Spring tension is adjustable with the supplied 6 mm Allen key. On warranty, Fellowes publishes different figures in different places; the part-number sheet and the Fellowes catalogue both say three years, and that is what we state.

The FIRA certification is the real differentiator here and it is worth understanding why: anyone can claim an arm is ergonomic, but very few submit one for independent assessment against the standard. If you are equipping an office and expect to justify the choice, that certificate does the justifying. The 1.5 kg minimum is the constraint people miss, and the 32-versus-40 inch confusion is Fellowes’ own doing — we publish the figure from the sheet for this part number. The USB ports are useful but under-documented; ask us about the cable rather than discovering it on the day.
