Fellowes Underdesk Keyboard Manager — Sliding Tray with Mouse Platform
510 mm platform724 mm trackMouse platformUnder-desk
The cheapest way to fix a desk that is too high is to stop typing on it. An under-desk keyboard manager moves the keyboard and mouse below the desktop, to the height your forearms actually want, and gives you the whole desk surface back for paper, a second screen or anything else. Fellowes builds this one around a 510 mm wide keyboard platform running on a 724 mm track, with an integrated 194 mm mouse platform mounted at the side so the mouse travels with the keyboard rather than staying stranded up on the desk — which is the mistake most single-tray installations make. It slides away underneath when you are not typing, so the desk reads as clear. Mounting hardware is included. Finish is platinum.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Measure before you order, because this is a fitted product rather than something you place. Fellowes publishes a required clearance of 533 mm beneath the desk for the installation, and the track needs 724 mm of clear depth under the desktop to run in — so check for a drawer, a modesty panel, a cable tray or a crossbar in that space first. The desk also needs an underside that will take screws; this is a mounted tray, not a clamp-on one, so a glass desk or a thin floating top is out. Beyond that, the practical question is the keyboard: a 510 mm platform takes a full-size board comfortably and a compact one with room to spare, but a very wide gaming keyboard with a fixed wrist rest may overhang. On the gaps: Fellowes does not state a weight capacity, a tilt range or the platform material for this model in the material it publishes for it, so we quote none — if the load or the tilt decides it for you, ask us before ordering and we will check with Fellowes rather than guess. The mouse platform is on one side; tell us which hand you use and we will confirm the arrangement.

✓ Shared desks that must look clear at the end of the day
✓ Anyone who has raised their chair and lost their footrest
✓ Offices standardising on one ergonomic fit-out
✓ Keyboards up to about 510 mm wide
Key Features
The mouse comes with the keyboard
A 194 mm mouse platform on the side means the mouse drops to the same height as the keys, instead of staying up on the desk and undoing the point of the tray.
It gives the desk back
510 mm of keyboard and its mouse slide out of sight underneath, so the desktop is free for paper, a monitor arm base or a second machine.
A long, honest track
A 724 mm track means the platform pulls right out to you and pushes right back in, rather than sitting half proud of the desk edge.
Fitted, with the hardware in the box
Mounting hardware is supplied, so the tray is fixed to the desk underside rather than resting on it.

Singular Expert Insight
Height is the ergonomic problem almost nobody fixes, because fixing it usually means buying a desk. A tray is the cheap version of that, and the side mouse platform is what separates a real one from a shelf. Measure the space underneath before you order. Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
Your desk is too high to type on, you can screw a tray to its underside, and you want the mouse to come down with the keyboard.
Skip it if
Your desk is glass or has no clear space underneath, or you need a published weight capacity or tilt range.
Also consider
A clamp-on keyboard tray if you cannot screw into the desk, or a wrist rest if the height is already right.
