The Fujitsu Top Case 14 is a straightforward top-loader: you drop the notebook in from above rather than unzipping a clamshell, which is quicker at a desk and quicker at a security queue. It is built from 600D polyester with two compartments - the main one for a 14-inch notebook and a front zip pocket for a charger, documents and cables - and carries by handle or by the detachable shoulder strap. There is no padding theatre and no feature list to memorise, which for a lot of people is exactly the point.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Rated for notebooks up to 14" / 35.6 cm. Fujitsu does not publish an internal envelope in millimetres for this case, so if your machine is an unusually thick 14" workstation it is worth measuring against the notebook you currently carry. There is no separate tablet pocket. One important note on sourcing: Fujitsu's client-computing accessory pages are no longer reachable, and the figures below come from Fujitsu's own printed Accessories - Cases brochure plus distributor data.
