Gigabyte B850M AORUS STEALTH — hidden-connector AM5 Micro-ATX
AMD B850 · Socket AM5Back-connect STEALTH design5GbE · Wi-Fi 7PCIe 5.0 x16 + Gen5 M.2
The Gigabyte B850M AORUS STEALTH (part number B850M AORUS STEALTH) is a Micro-ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5 on the B850 chipset, with the STEALTH back-connect design that moves the connectors to the rear of the board for cable-free builds with Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 processors.
An 8+2+2 digital VRM on a 2x-copper PCB powers the CPU, four DDR5 slots support up to 256GB with EXPO/XMP kits up to 8200 MT/s (OC), and the PCIe 5.0 x16 graphics slot is paired with three M.2 slots — one PCIe 5.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x4.
Connectivity includes Realtek 5GbE, Realtek Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, a 10 Gbps USB-C and USB-A on the rear, and ALC1220 audio with optical S/PDIF.
Compatibility note: Back-connect boards need a compatible case with cut-outs for rear-mounted connectors — check Gigabyte chassis support list before buying. There are only two SATA ports and three M.2 slots. Wi-Fi 7 requires Windows 11 (no Windows 10 driver).

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the B850M AORUS STEALTH fit any Micro-ATX case?
No. Because its connectors are on the back of the board, the case needs matching cut-outs in the motherboard tray. Gigabyte publishes a STEALTH chassis support list with compatible cases from many manufacturers.
Is it good for a Ryzen 7 9800X3D?
Yes, B850 supports PBO and memory overclocking, and the board offers PCIe 5.0 graphics plus Gen5 NVMe; X3D Turbo Mode is also available in the BIOS.
How many fan headers does it have?
Four: CPU fan, CPU fan/pump, one system fan and one system fan/pump header. Builds with many case fans may need a hub or ARGB/fan controller.
Does it support Windows 10?
Gigabyte lists Windows 11 64-bit only, and the Wi-Fi 7 module has no Windows 10 driver.
Singular Expert Insight
The STEALTH is for builders who want a genuinely clean look: with connectors hidden on the back, the front of the system shows only the components. It is a solid B850 board in its own right (5GbE, Wi-Fi 7, Gen5), but only makes sense if your case supports back-connect boards. Otherwise the B850 AORUS ELITE-P ICE is simpler. Add DDR5 from our
DDR5 memory range.
✓ Buy it if you have or plan a back-connect compatible case and want a clean, compact Ryzen gaming build.
✕ Skip it if your case lacks back-connect cut-outs or you need many fan headers and SATA ports.
→ Also consider the B850 AORUS ELITE-P ICE for a standard ATX layout, or the B840M GAMING X WIFI6E for a lower price.
