The GIGABYTE B550 X EAGLE is a full ATX motherboard for AMD AM4 processors on the B550 chipset, with a PCIe 4.0 x16 graphics slot, two M.2 slots and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, for budget gaming and office builds and for upgrading an older AM4 system while keeping DDR4 memory. It supports Ryzen 5000, 5000 G, 4000 G, 3000 and 3000 G Series CPUs and takes up to 128GB of DDR4-3200 in four slots, ECC or non-ECC unbuffered.
Storage covers a CPU-connected M.2 slot at PCIe 4.0 x4 (also SATA), a chipset M.2 slot at PCIe 3.0 x4 and four SATA ports with RAID 0/1/10. Four additional PCIe x16-size slots run at x1 for add-in cards. The rear panel offers USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, a USB-C port, Q-Flash Plus and one HDMI output for CPUs with integrated graphics.
Before you order: There is no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on this board — that is the B550 X EAGLE WIFI6E, a different model. With Ryzen G-series APUs the GPU slot and CPU M.2 run at PCIe 3.0.
