Herlitz A8 Index Cards — Ruled, Yellow, 100 Pack
A8Ruled170 g/m²100 cards
The Herlitz A8 index cards (article 10836328) are a pack of 100 yellow ruled cards in 170 g/m² wood-free card, the small A8 format (74 × 52 mm) used for vocabulary cards, revision cards, short notes and card indexes. The pack is shrink-wrapped.
170 g/m² is noticeably stiffer than normal paper, so the cards stand upright in a card box and survive being flipped through many times. Yellow makes a set easy to separate from white cards — for example one colour per subject.
Before you order: A8 is the smallest common index-card size. These cards are made for A8 card boxes; in A7 or A6 boxes they will slide around, and they are too small for A7/A6 dividers.
What's in the Box
- 100 Herlitz index cards, A8, ruled, yellow
- Shrink-wrapped pack
What It Means in Practice
- Ideal for vocabulary learning: word on one side, translation on the other.
- The ruled lines keep handwriting small and neat on a small card.
- Stiff 170 g/m² card stands upright in a card box.
- Use colours to sort by subject, chapter or priority.
What Will Not Work
- They are not A7 or A6 cards — check the size of your card box.
- They are not squared or plain — the cards are ruled.
- They are not printer cards with perforated sheets — write by hand.
- The card box is not included; Herlitz sells A8 boxes separately.
