Do I need to change the toner when I change the drum?
No. Toner and drum are separate parts with separate lifetimes. Replace the drum when the printer reports it; replace the 827A toner when that runs out.
Does double-sided printing change the page yield?
Yield is measured on standard test pages per printed side. Printing duplex uses the same toner per side, so you get the same number of printed sides on fewer sheets of paper.
