The HPE BW906A is the official HPE 42U 1075mm side panel kit, a pair of lockable side walls for 42U, 1075 mm deep HPE racks, used to close the sides of a standalone rack or the end of a rack row in server rooms and data centres. HPE describes the panels as lightweight and divided into three sections for easier handling during installation.
Side panels keep airflow front-to-back, keep hands and dust out of the equipment area and add security when the rack sits in a shared room.
Before you order: Match both height and depth: this kit is for 42U racks with 1075 mm depth. HPE lists it in the Advanced Series Racks QuickSpecs (for example the 42U 600 × 1075 mm racks H6J65A, H6J66A, TL253A, TL254A — note some of these are shipped with side panels already). For 1200 mm deep or 48U racks, and for HPE G2 racks, different kits apply.
