Honeywell Elastic Ring Finger Strap for 8670 Ring Scanner, 20-Pack
20 strapsElasticSnap-on mount8670 ring scanner
The Honeywell 8600501FNGRSTRAP is a pack of 20 elastic ring finger straps with snap-on mount, listed by Honeywell in the accessories range of the 8670 Wireless Ring Scanner, for sites that issue ring scanners to many pickers and replace straps regularly.
Finger straps are the part of a ring scanner that wears out first and the part users least like to share. A 20-pack lets you give each user their own strap and replace stretched or soiled ones without ordering one at a time.
Before you order: Honeywell lists this strap only in the 8670 Wireless Ring Scanner accessories guide. The 8675i and 8680i use different finger straps (8675I505-FNGRSTRP and 8680I505FNGRSTRAP / 8680I505FNGRSTRAP2) — do not order this pack for those.
What's in the Box
- 20 × elastic ring finger straps with snap-on mount
What It Means in Practice
- One strap per user improves hygiene on shared scanners.
- Stretched elastic means the scanner slips on the finger and scans at the wrong angle — replacing the strap restores a firm fit.
- Honeywell also offers soft rubber alternatives for the same range (large 8600504SOFTSTRAP, small 8600503SOFTSTRAP), also in 20-packs.
- Honeywell has discontinued the 8670 scanner itself (successor 8675i), so this pack mainly keeps existing 8670 fleets running.
What Will Not Work
- It does not fit the 8675i or 8680i wearable scanners.
- It is not a wrist strap — for the 8670 wrist strap see 8670401WSTRAP.
- Honeywell does not publish strap sizes, so it is one size per its listing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
For ring-scanner fleets, straps are a consumable — budget a pack per year for busy sites. The most common ordering mistake is mixing 8670, 8675i and 8680i straps, which do not interchange. If your pickers also carry handhelds on Wi-Fi, see our access points.
✓ Buy it if you run Honeywell 8670 ring scanners and need replacement or per-user finger straps.
✕ Skip it if you use 8675i or 8680i wearables.
→ Also consider the soft rubber straps 8600504SOFTSTRAP / 8600503SOFTSTRAP.
Not sure which ring scanner you have? Send us the model from the label and we will match the right strap.
