The Eclipse 5145 uses CodeGate to separate aiming from data transmission. Position the laser on the intended linear barcode, then press the button to send the result. This is useful when choosing one code from a menu or document containing several labels.

This exact SKU is the light-gray USB kit. The Eclipse family also has other interface variants; they do not establish additional connectors on this kit. Choose a 2D scanner for QR codes.
