HP 308 Tri-color Original Ink Cartridge — ~120 pages, 3 ml, for HP ENVY 6100/6500 & DeskJet 2900/4300

HP 7FP20UE is the HP 308 Tri-color Original Ink Cartridge, rated at ~120 pages (ISO/IEC 24711 or HP testing methodology with continuous printing) — for home and small-office users who want the printer to run as HP designed it.

Cyan, magenta and yellow sit in one cartridge, so it is replaced as a single unit when any of the three colours runs low. Black text is printed by the separate HP 308 Black cartridge.

• 1 x HP 308 Tri-color Original Ink Cartridge (7FP20UE) in HP retail packaging
• Cartridge only — other colours and printer accessories are sold separately

• ~120 pages is the HP rated average (ISO/IEC 24711 or HP testing methodology with continuous printing, tested in HP ENVY 6100 All-in-One series). Pages with photos, large colour areas or frequent single-page jobs use more ink, so real-world yield varies.
• 3 ml of dye-based ink — dye ink gives bright colour on plain and photo paper.
• Installation: open the cartridge door, wait for the carriage to stop, unclip the old cartridge, remove the protective tape from the new one and click it in. The printer may run a short alignment.
• Genuine HP supply: the printer recognises it and does not show non-original supply warnings.

• Printers not listed here that use a different cartridge number — HP 305 cartridges fit the previous DeskJet 2700/ENVY 6000 generation and are not interchangeable with 308.
• It does not replace the black cartridge — black text needs the HP 308 Black cartridge.
