The HP 4M9Y2AA is a 32GB (1x32GB) DDR5-4800 desktop memory module for HP business desktops of the G9 generation (Pro 400, Elite 600/800) and the Z2 G9 workstation. It is a single 32GB module.
It runs at its rated setting, stored in its SPD (DDR5-4800 (JEDEC)), with no BIOS changes. It is HP’s own option part for these systems, so the BIOS recognises it as HP memory and it carries HP support.
Before you order: This is non-ECC unbuffered DDR5. HP Z2 G9 workstations configured with ECC memory need ECC UDIMMs instead — do not mix ECC and non-ECC modules in one system.
