HP 507X High Yield Original LaserJet Toner Cartridge Black, approx. 11,000 Pages, for LaserJet Enterprise M551 / M575

The HP 507X (CE400X) is the high-yield black original toner cartridge for the HP LaserJet 500 color family — LaserJet Enterprise 500 color M551, LaserJet Enterprise 500 color MFP M575 and LaserJet Pro 500 color MFP M570 — rated for approximately 11,000 pages. It is aimed at offices that print mainly black text on these colour printers and want fewer cartridge changes.

Like other HP LaserJet all-in-one cartridges, the 507X includes the parts that wear with the toner, so a cartridge change also refreshes the imaging components for the black position. Colour cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow) are separate.

• At roughly double the page count of the standard 507A, one 507X covers about twice as long between changes in the black position — usually the colour that runs out first in an office.
• Page yields are measured by the manufacturer under standard test conditions (about 5% coverage on A4). Pages with photos, logos, solid areas or heavy colour use more toner, so real-world page counts are often lower — budget with that in mind.
• Keep the cartridge sealed in its bag until you install it, store it flat at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. A cartridge that has been dropped or stored in heat can leak or print streaks.
• When the printer first warns about low toner it normally keeps printing for a while. Having the replacement on the shelf avoids downtime, especially on shared office printers.
• Used original cartridges can go back through the manufacturer recycling scheme instead of general waste — ask us if you need the return details.

• Other HP LaserJet colour printers that use different cartridge numbers (for example 305, 410 or 508 series).
• Cyan, magenta and yellow — this cartridge supplies only black toner.
• Printers outside the compatibility list. Cartridges with similar-looking numbers for other model series do not seat correctly or are rejected by the printer chip.
