HP Travel 25 Liter Laptop Backpack — 6B8U4AA
Up to 15.6"25 L → 30 LRFID pocketLockable zipsIron Grey
The HP Travel 25 Liter is the large model in HP’s "That One Bag Life" travel range. It expands from 25 to 30 litres, carries a hidden RFID-blocking pocket and lockable main zips, and HP states the exterior is 100% recycled PET before dyeing — the equivalent of thirteen recycled water bottles.
Compatibility — check before buying:
HP specifies laptops up to 15.6" diagonal, with a recommended maximum device size of 11.8 x 8 x 15 inches (approximately 300 x 203 x 381 mm). Do not confuse this reference with HP’s 18 litre Travel backpacks — 6B8U6AA and 6H2D9AA are the same 18 L bag at 290 x 160 x 420 mm and 0.51 kg, and neither of those has an RFID pocket or a sternum strap.
Best For
✓ Carry-on travel with a laptop and a few days of clothes
✓ Commuters who want capacity in reserve
✓ Buyers who want RFID protection built into the bag
✓ Anyone who wants lockable zips on the main compartment
Key Features
Expands 25 L to 30 L
The body opens from 320 x 170 x 440 mm to 320 x 245 x 440 mm — 25 litres normally, 30 when you need the extra space.
Hidden RFID-blocking pocket
A concealed pocket shields contactless cards and passports from wireless reading. HP lists it in both the security and external-pocket rows of its specification.
Lockable zippers and reflective material
The main compartment zips take a lock, and reflective detailing improves visibility in low light.
Sternum strap and padded back panel
A chest strap takes load off the shoulders on longer walks, alongside padded ergonomic straps, multiple carry handles and a padded back panel.
Trolley pass-through and carry-on design
A pass-through sleeve positions the bag on a suitcase handle, and HP designates it carry-on.
Tracker pocket and cable pass-through
A dedicated pocket for a tracking device (not included) and a cable pass-through for charging from inside the bag.

Singular Expert Insight
This is the one to take when 18 litres is not enough — the 25-to-30 litre expansion covers a carry-on weekend, and the sternum strap matters once the bag is actually loaded. RFID and lockable zips are genuine security features rather than marketing. Two things to watch in HP’s documentation: the colour is called three different things across HP’s own properties, and HP’s European page omits the RFID and lockable-zip features that its own datasheet lists.
