Worth separating two things that get confused. HP sells a Renew line built from recycled plastic bottles, and it sells this Reversible Protective line, which makes no recycled claim at all beyond the packaging bag. If recycled content is why you are buying, this is not the range. What this sleeve does have is a genuinely sensible design: no zip means no metal near the lid, neoprene on both faces means it survives a wash, and reversibility gets you two looks from one purchase. On availability, be aware HP has dropped the Reversible Protective range from its US assortment entirely in favour of Renew, and several European resellers show it backordered — no discontinuation notice has been published, but the range is thinning.
