Poly Studio V12 — 4K USB Video Bar with DirectorAI for Small Rooms, White
4K · 120°DirectorAINoiseBlockAIWhite
The Poly Studio V12 is an all-in-one USB video bar in white for small meeting rooms and huddle spaces, combining a 4K 20 MP camera with a 120° horizontal view, four beamforming microphones with up to 4.57 m pickup and integrated stereo speakers. It connects to a room PC or laptop over USB-C and is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Poly DirectorAI frames the speaker, people or the whole group automatically, while NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence keep keyboard noise and people outside the meeting area out of the call.
Before you order: This is the No Power Supply version: power it from a PoE++ switch or injector, or order the Poly USB-C power adapter separately. A computer is needed — the V12 is a USB peripheral, not a standalone room system.
What's in the Box
- Poly Studio V12 video bar, white
- 1.83 m USB-C cable
- 2 m Ethernet cable
- Removable monitor clamp
- Removable privacy cap
- Quick start guide
What It Means in Practice
- The 120° view sees everyone around a small table, even close to the screen.
- DirectorAI switches between speaker, people and group framing without anyone touching a remote.
- NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence reduce typing and corridor noise for remote participants.
- One USB-C cable connects the bar to the room PC or a visitor’s laptop.
What Will Not Work
- It will not power up out of the box without a PoE++ source or the separately sold Poly USB-C power adapter.
- It does not run meetings on its own — it needs a PC or laptop.
- It has no optical zoom (5x digital) — for long rooms choose a PTZ camera.
- It is not intended for large rooms beyond its 4.57 m mic pickup.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The Studio V12 is a tidy, single-bar answer for small Teams or Zoom rooms with a room PC. Decide the power route before ordering — PoE++ keeps it to one cable, see our PoE switches — and pair it with a display sized for the room.
✓ Buy it if you are fitting small rooms with a PC or laptop and want AI framing and good noise suppression in one bar.
✕ Skip it if you need a standalone appliance without a PC, or optical zoom for a longer room.
→ Also consider the Poly Studio E60 camera with a Studio G62 for larger rooms.
Not sure how to power it in your room? Send us your switch model or room layout and we will check before you order.
