HP C6602A Black Generic Inkjet Print Cartridge, 18 ml TIJ 1.0, for Addmaster IJ and Ithaca POSjet Printers

The HP C6602A Black (C6602A) is an original HP ink cartridge with 18 ml of black thermal inkjet ink, rated at TIJ 1.0, for POS, cheque and receipt printers built on the HP TIJ 1.0 print engine, such as Addmaster IJ 6080/6160/7100 and Ithaca POSjet / BANKjet / KITCHENjet models.

This is not a desktop-printer cartridge. HP sells the TIJ 1.0 cartridge to manufacturers of point-of-sale, validation and cheque printers, who build their print engines around it. It is an original HP part with the printhead integrated in the cartridge.

• 1 × HP C6602A Black original ink cartridge (C6602A), 18 ml
• Sealed HP foil pouch
• Nozzle protection tape — remove before installing

• The printhead is part of the cartridge, so print quality is renewed with every replacement
• 12 nozzles in a narrow swath — designed for receipts, cheque endorsements and validation stamps, not full-page printing
• Keep spare cartridges sealed in their pouch until use; HP lists storage from −30 to 60 °C
• If the device has been idle for weeks, wipe the nozzle plate with a lint-free damp cloth before printing
• Yield is not published by HP; it depends on font, line density and how much is printed per transaction

• Not for any HP DeskJet, OfficeJet, ENVY or LaserJet printer
• Not for devices built on HP TIJ 2.5 cartridges (for example 51645A / C6195A-based engines) — different size and contacts
• Not for printers using red or blue TIJ 1.0 variants if you need colour — this is black only
• Not refillable as an HP part; refilled cartridges are not original HP
