The HPE Aruba Networking CX 6300F JL665A is a 1U Layer 3 access switch with 48 x 10/100/1000 Class 4 PoE ports (30 W, 802.3at) and four SFP56 uplinks at 1/10/25/50G. It runs AOS-CX and stacks up to 10 switches with VSF, for campus access and branch cores.
The "F" model has a fixed, built-in power supply with a 740 W PoE budget - no separate PSU to order and no power-supply bays to fill.
Before you order: the power supply and fans are fixed and not field-replaceable. If you need hot-swap redundant power, choose the modular CX 6300M equivalent instead.

- VSF stacks up to 10 CX 6300 switches over the SFP56 uplinks into one managed unit.
- Airflow is front (ports) to back (power).
What Will Not Work
- Hot-swap or redundant power supplies - the 6300F PSU is fixed.
- 802.3bt (Class 5-8, above 30 W) devices.
- Multigigabit (2.5/5/10G) access ports - these are 1 Gbps.
- VSF stacking over the 1G access ports - it uses the SFP56 uplinks.
