The HPE Aruba Networking User Experience Insight G6EC sensor (S0U52A) sits where your users work and tests the network the way they use it, around the clock: it joins your Wi-Fi 6E and wired networks, checks connection, DNS, internal apps and cloud services, and reports problems to the UXI cloud dashboard before users call the help desk. A built-in LTE modem with a managed SIM keeps it reporting even when the network it tests is down. In practice IT sees slow Wi-Fi in the meeting room or a failing app at a branch without being there.

Compatibility — check before buying:
It needs a UXI cloud subscription (1, 3 or 5 years) to be useful, and also an LTE service subscription — HPE states both are required. It works with any vendor’s network. Power comes from PoE 802.3af; the AC adapter is included. HPE does not publish the LTE bands for this model; ask us to confirm coverage in Cyprus. Tell us your sites and we size the subscriptions.

Does it work without a subscription?
No. The results appear in the UXI cloud dashboard, which needs a 1, 3 or 5 year subscription, and the cellular sensor also needs an LTE subscription.
Does it only work with Aruba networks?
No. UXI is vendor-neutral and tests any Wi-Fi or wired network the way a user would.
How is it powered?
By PoE 802.3af, or by the included AC adapter, with a short power backup.
Why the cellular version?
If the network it tests fails completely, the sensor still reports the outage over LTE.
