The HPE Aruba Networking CX 8325H 4-post Rack Mount Shelf Kit (S2T43A) is the tray that mounts one or two half-width Aruba CX 8325H switches side by side in a four-post 19-inch rack or cabinet. It is for data-centre and campus-core teams deploying the 8325H, which is a half-width switch and ships without rack-mount brackets.
HPE's 8325H installation guide specifies that this tray must be paired with the Aruba X414 1U Universal 4-post Rack Mount Kit (J9583B): the tray holds the switches, the J9583B provides the four-post rail mounting. The switches slide into the tray and lock with a latch, and power cord retention clips keep the power cables in place.
Before you order: This tray must be ordered together with the Aruba X414 1U Universal 4-post Rack Mount Kit (J9583B). On its own it cannot be fixed into a four-post rack. For two-post racks HPE offers a different kit, S2T44A.

- The switch measures 8.27 × 22.70 × 1.69 in (W × D × H), so plan rack depth for a deep 1U device and its cabling.
- Check airflow direction: 8325H models come in front-to-back and back-to-front versions, and HPE recommends positioning them to avoid recirculating hot air.

- Any switch other than the Aruba CX 8325H series.
- Mounting in a four-post rack without the J9583B rail kit.
- Two-post racks — use the HPE Aruba Networking 8325H 2-post Rack Mount Kit (S2T44A) instead.
- Full-width switches — the tray is designed for half-width 8325H units.
