The HPE 876805-B21 is the HPE StoreEver 4 m Mini SAS HD (SFF-8644) LTO drive cable for the HPE 1U Rack Mount Kit, used to connect half-height LTO tape drives installed in that kit to a server HBA with an external SFF-8644 port.

The 1U rack mount kit (BC029A) ships without a cable, so this is the part you order to cable an LTO-8 Ultrium 30750 or LTO-9 Ultrium 45000 half-height drive in the kit to the server. HPE gives the length as 4 m measured from the rear of the kit, 4.57 m in total.

Before you order: This is not a general disk-enclosure cable. HBAs with Mini-SAS (SFF-8088) ports need the SFF-8088 version, HPE 876804-B21. For LTO-9 HPE refers to a 12Gb SFF-8644 cable (P35174-B21) — tell us the drive and HBA and we confirm the right one. HPE recommends the Smart Array E208e-p SR Gen10 as HBA.
