JL595A is the X722 back-to-front fan tray for selected HPE Comware 5710 switches. Use it as part of the switch’s required fan set or to replace a matching tray. The BF direction must agree with the other installed trays and the power supply.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the exact switch SKU in the compatibility list, the installed fan direction and PSU direction. Front-to-back and back-to-front trays must not be mixed in one switch. A new switch configuration needs four or five trays, depending on the model.

Is one tray enough for a new switch?
No. The complete configuration uses four trays for most supported models and five for JL586A and S3K84A. One tray may be the replacement you need for an existing complete configuration.
Can I combine it with JL594A?
Not in the same switch. JL594A is the X721 front-to-back tray; JL595A is X722 back-to-front. HPE does not allow these tray types to be mixed.
Should I check the power supply too?
Yes. HPE pairs the BF fan-tray choice with a BF power supply. Confirm the direction and supported PSU type for the particular switch model.
