The i-tec C31NANOTRIDOCKPD is a compact USB-C docking station that connects up to three monitors — via HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2 and VGA — from a single USB-C port using MST technology. One screen runs at up to 4K/60 Hz or 1440p/144 Hz; two screens run at 2× 4K/30 Hz, and all three together at 1080p/60 Hz.

It also passes up to 100 W of Power Delivery to the laptop, and adds four USB-A and one USB-C 5 Gbps ports plus Gigabit Ethernet (Realtek 8153E). The 30 cm integrated cable, 112 g aluminium body and 10–15 W internal consumption make it a practical choice for both travel and fixed desks, including rooms that still use VGA projectors.

Compatibility note: Three independent screens require Windows (MST). macOS mirrors all monitors; iPadOS and Android mirror only. When a VGA display is connected, all outputs are limited to 1080p/60 Hz. With Android devices the dock needs an external USB-C charger (not included).

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I extend my desktop to three monitors on a MacBook?
No. macOS does not support MST, so all monitors connected to this dock show the same image. For multiple independent screens on a Mac, choose a Thunderbolt dock.
Why does adding a VGA screen lower the resolution?
The dock shares its video bandwidth across outputs; with VGA connected, i-tec limits every output to 1080p/60 Hz. For higher resolution on two screens, use HDMI + DisplayPort only.
Is a charger included?
No. Connect your laptop’s USB-C PD charger to the dock’s PD port to charge at up to 100 W. The C31NANOLANPD100 is the single-display model sold with a 100 W charger.
Singular Expert Insight
Probably the most economical way to get three screens from a Windows USB-C laptop, and the VGA port is a real plus in older meeting rooms. Keep in mind the 1080p limit in triple mode and the Mac mirroring limitation. More options are in our docking stations.
