No. i-tec rates the C31EXTENDCBL for USB 3.2 Gen 2 at up to 10 Gbps. A Thunderbolt link plugged through it will either negotiate down or fail to train, so keep Thunderbolt docks on their own certified cable.
Will a monitor still work through the extension?
Yes, if the source device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. The cable carries video at up to 4K / 60 Hz, which covers a single 4K desktop monitor or any 1080p and 1440p display.
