The ICY BOX IB-DK2245AC is a 13-in-1 DisplayLink docking station that drives two monitors up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, adds four USB-A and two USB-C 5Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet and audio, and charges a USB-C laptop with up to 65W. It ships with both a USB-C and a USB-A cable, so the same dock works with new and older laptops.
It has two HDMI and two DisplayPort outputs, but runs a maximum of two monitors at once; using both DP ports together it can also drive one 5K (5120 x 2880) screen with dual DP input. Its 100W power supply covers the dock and the 65W laptop charging.
Before you order: Install the DisplayLink driver (Windows or macOS) before use. Only two monitors work at the same time even though there are four video ports. Laptop charging works only over the USB-C cable — USB-A laptops need their own charger.

- With the USB-C cable, one connection charges the laptop (65W), runs two screens, network, audio and USB.
- Gigabit Ethernet supports Wake-on-LAN for managed desks.
- Because video is DisplayLink, the laptop’s USB-C port does not need DisplayPort Alt Mode — useful for laptops without video over USB-C.

- Three or four monitors at once — maximum two.
- Video without the DisplayLink driver (locked-down PCs, unsupported OS such as macOS 10.13.4).
- Laptop charging over the USB-A cable.
- Laptops that need more than 65W to charge at full speed — use their original charger.
