INCA IMG-328MX Empousa Wireless Gaming Mouse

Tri-mode: 2.4 GHz · Bluetooth · wiredUp to 7,200 DPI7 programmable buttons89 g · RGB

The INCA IMG-328MX Empousa is a wireless gaming mouse that connects three ways: over its 2.4 GHz USB receiver, over Bluetooth 5.2 to two devices, or wired with its USB-C cable. It has an optical sensor with six DPI steps up to 7,200 DPI per INCA’s Turkish page and manual, seven programmable buttons with macro software, RGB lighting and a built-in 400 mAh rechargeable battery, and it weighs 89 g. In practice it is one mouse for a gaming PC over the receiver, a laptop and a tablet over Bluetooth, switching with a button underneath.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Three connections, switch underneath: a button on the base switches between the 2.4 GHz receiver, Bluetooth 1, Bluetooth 2 and wired mode. INCA’s two sites differ on some figures: the Turkish page and manual list DPI steps up to 7,200 and 125 Hz polling on 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth, while the German page quotes up to 12,800 DPI and a datasheet 1,000 Hz on 2.4 GHz. Wired it runs at 1,000 Hz on both. Operating systems: INCA lists Windows, plus macOS (Germany) and Android (Turkey); the macro software runs on Windows. Shape: our supplier lists it as right-handed. In the box: mouse, USB-C cable, 2.4 GHz receiver and manual.

Best For

✓ Gaming PCs over the 2.4 GHz receiver
✓ A laptop and a tablet over two Bluetooth channels
✓ Players who want wired mode when the battery runs low
✓ Programmable macros for MMO and productivity
✓ A bright, distinctive yellow desk setup
✓ One mouse for home and travel

Key Features

Tri-mode connectivity
2.4 GHz with the USB receiver for gaming, two Bluetooth 5.2 channels for a laptop and a tablet, and wired USB-C — switch between them with the button on the base. INCA gives a 10 m wireless range.

Optical sensor, adjustable DPI
Six DPI steps — 800, 1,200, 1,600, 2,400, 4,800 and 7,200 — per INCA’s Turkish page and manual, for everything from precise aim to fast desktop movement. INCA’s German page quotes a maximum of 12,800 DPI.

7 programmable buttons and RGB
Seven buttons can take macros through INCA’s software, and RGB lighting runs six effects plus off. INCA rates the switches at 20 million clicks.

400 mAh battery, USB-C charging
A built-in 400 mAh rechargeable battery charges over USB-C in about 2 to 3 hours, with a red low-battery warning and automatic sleep. INCA does not publish a runtime; plug in the cable and keep playing in wired mode.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the INCA IMG-328MX connect to two computers?
Yes, and a third. It stores two Bluetooth connections and the 2.4 GHz receiver, and the button on the base switches between them — for example the gaming PC on the receiver, a laptop on Bluetooth 1 and a tablet on Bluetooth 2.
What DPI does it really go to?
INCA’s Turkish page and user manual list six steps up to 7,200 DPI; its German page quotes up to 12,800 DPI. We publish both. For almost everyone, the useful range is the 800 to 3,200 area anyway, and the steps cover it.
Is 2.4 GHz lag-free for gaming?
The 2.4 GHz receiver is the connection to use for games; Bluetooth is for office and tablets. INCA’s sources disagree on the 2.4 GHz polling rate — 125 Hz on the Turkish page, 1,000 Hz in the German datasheet — while wired mode is 1,000 Hz on both. For competitive play, wired mode is the safe choice.
Does it work with a Mac?
INCA Germany lists macOS, so the mouse itself works over the receiver, Bluetooth or cable. The macro and lighting software is Windows software, so on a Mac you use the mouse with its default settings.
Singular Expert Insight
The IMG-328MX Empousa is a lot of mouse for the money: tri-mode connection with two Bluetooth channels, seven programmable buttons, RGB and a rechargeable battery at 89 g — and a yellow shell that stands out on any desk. We are open about INCA’s own inconsistencies: DPI is 7,200 on the Turkish page and manual but 12,800 on the German page, and the 2.4 GHz polling rate is listed as both 125 and 1,000 Hz. None of that matters for office use, and for competitive gaming the wired mode at 1,000 Hz settles it. Pair it with a large pad from our desktop accessories range, such as INCA’s IMP-018 series.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You want one rechargeable mouse for a gaming PC and two other devices, with programmable buttons, RGB and a wired fallback, in a distinctive yellow.

Skip it if

You need a guaranteed high polling rate wireless for competitive esports, you are left-handed, or you want the software on a Mac.

Also consider

A large INCA IMP-018 series mouse pad (900 x 400 mm) to go with it. A wired esports mouse if wireless polling matters most.
