Imou Rex VT Pro — 5MP Indoor Pan-Tilt Wi-Fi 6 Camera with 2.4″ Screen

5MP 2880×1620355° pan · 90° tilt2.4″ screenWi-Fi 6

The Imou Rex VT Pro (IPC-S2VBP-5M0WR) is an indoor pan-tilt camera with a built-in 2.4-inch screen, so the person at home can see who is calling from the Imou app rather than only hearing a voice — useful for checking on children or older parents. It records 5MP (2880 × 1620) through a 3.6 mm lens, turns 355° and tilts 90° to cover a whole room, sees up to 20 m in the dark and connects over Wi-Fi 6. It runs from a 5 V USB adapter included in the box and records to a microSD card up to 512 GB or to Imou cloud.

Compatibility — check before buying:
In the box: camera, power adapter, USB cable, quick start guide. Not in the box: microSD card, wall or ceiling mounting kit. Indoor only — it has no weather rating. It is powered by a 5 V USB adapter (included), not by PoE or 12 V. Rex VT Pro is not the Rex VT — check the name if you are matching an existing camera. Not sure it fits your setup? Tell us your router, switch or recorder model and we check it for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a memory card included?
No. The camera has a microSD slot (up to 512 GB), but no card is in the box. For continuous recording use a surveillance-grade card; we stock microSD cards and can suggest a size for the number of days you want to keep.
How is it powered and connected?
From the 5 V 1.5 A power adapter and USB cable that come in the box. It connects to your home over Wi-Fi 6; there is no PoE.
What is the screen for?
The 2.4-inch display lets the Rex VT Pro show a video call placed from the Imou app, so the person in the room can see you as well as hear you. It is handy for a child, a relative living alone or a shop counter where you want to speak face to face.
Will it cover a whole room?
Yes, in most rooms. It pans 355° and tilts 90° under app control, and human and pet detection can alert you when someone moves into view. The 3.6 mm lens covers 87° at a time, so place it where it can see the doors you care about.
Singular Expert Insight
The Rex VT Pro is the Imou indoor camera to choose when the people at home need to see you, not just hear you. If you only need to watch a room, a camera without a screen costs less. Wi-Fi 6 works best with a current router — see our routers — and add one of our microSD cards for local recording.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You want an indoor pan-tilt camera with a screen for video calls to children or relatives, with 5MP detail and Wi-Fi 6.

Skip it if

You need an outdoor camera, PoE power, or a camera that never shows anything on its own screen.

Also consider

Imou outdoor pan-tilt cameras such as the Cruiser Dual, or our routers for better Wi-Fi coverage.
