The Inateck BCST-S is an adjustable barcode scanner stand with a flexible holding arm and a clamp-style head, made for the Inateck P6, BCST-70, BCST-60 and BCST-50 handheld scanners. It turns a handheld scanner into a fixed scanning point on the counter, and you can still lift the scanner out when you need it.
Inateck moulds the stand from durable, shock-resistant industrial-type plastic. The holding arm bends to change the angle and position of the scanner, and the clamp mechanism keeps it steady once set. The base is non-slip, and it also has two screw holes if you prefer to fix it permanently.
Before you order: Inateck states a perfect fit only for its P6, BCST-70, BCST-60 and BCST-50 scanners and says the stand can work with many other scanners. If you use another brand, send us the model and we will check the grip size against the 6.61 cm clamp head.

What It Means in Practice
- Hands-free scanning at the till: present items to the scanner instead of picking it up each time.
- Adjust the arm once to aim the scanner exactly where items pass.
- Assembly takes a minute and needs no tools: the parts join with a butterfly nut.
- For a permanent setup, screw the base to the desk; Inateck notes that the screws are not supplied.
What Will Not Work
- It does not charge a cordless scanner; for the BCST-60, BCST-70, BCST-73, P6 and P7 Inateck offers a separate charging base.
- It does not make a scanner read automatically; hands-free reading depends on the scanner's own auto-sense or continuous mode.
- Fixing screws for the base are not included.
- A fit with scanners from other brands is not confirmed by Inateck.
