Inateck Ultra-Light Keyboard Case for 11-inch iPad - German QWERTZ - Purple
Detachable keyboardBluetoothQWERTZ (DE)Pencil holder
The Inateck BK2007 in purple is a light keyboard case with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard for 11-inch class iPads: iPad (10th gen), iPad (A16), iPad Air 11-inch (M2/M3/M4), iPad Air 4th/5th gen and iPad Pro 11-inch (1st–4th gen). It is aimed at students and travellers who want a cheap way to type on an iPad without adding much weight.
The keyboard turns on in under a second when attached and switches off when removed, there is no power switch, and Inateck states up to 150 days of use per charge with a 2–3 hour recharge.
Before you order: This is the German QWERTZ layout (Z and Y swapped, umlaut keys ä ö ü). iPadOS 17 or newer is required. It is not for 13-inch iPads or the older 10.2-inch iPad.
What's in the Box
- Inateck keyboard case with detachable Bluetooth keyboard, purple
- Charging cable and documentation are not itemised by Inateck — ask us if you need them confirmed
What It Means in Practice
- Pair the keyboard once over Bluetooth; after that it wakes in under a second when attached to the case.
- A sixth row of shortcut keys controls screen lock, volume and other iPad functions.
- Detach the keyboard to use the iPad as a tablet in portrait or landscape inside the cover.
- The PU pen holder has a frameless edge so the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) can still charge magnetically on the iPad.
What Will Not Work
- It does not fit 13-inch iPads or the 10.2-inch iPad (7th–9th gen).
- It has no trackpad: you navigate with the screen or a separate mouse.
- Inateck does not publish backlighting for this variant, so do not expect lit keys.
- It is a German QWERTZ keyboard; if you need printed UK/US QWERTY keys, choose a different layout version.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The BK2007 covers almost every 11-inch class iPad of recent years with one case, which is handy if you change iPads or manage several. Check the German QWERTZ layout and the missing trackpad before ordering; for trackpad models see our iPad accessories.
✓ Buy it if you want a light, low-cost keyboard case for an 11-inch class iPad and are fine with QWERTZ.
✕ Skip it if you need a trackpad, backlit keys or a UK/US layout, or you have an iPad Pro (M4).
→ Also consider Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Air if you want a Smart Connector keyboard with trackpad.
Not sure your iPad is on the list? Send us the A-model number from the back of the iPad and we will check it before you order.
