Inateck BP01003 — 25–30 L Roll Top Backpack for 17″ Laptops, Grey
25–30 L roll topPadded 17″ laptop bayWater-repellent fabricCable pass-through port
The Inateck BP01003 is a grey roll-top backpack that runs from 25 to 30 litres depending on how far you roll the top down, with a genuinely large padded laptop compartment measuring 43 x 31 x 3.5 cm for machines up to 17 inches, plus a separate padded tablet compartment up to 11 inches. Two entrances make it practical rather than fashionable: the roll-top at the top, and a rear zip that opens straight onto the main compartment so you do not have to unroll it to reach something. There is a power-bank pocket with a rubber-lined pass-through for a headphone or charging cable, two side pockets for a bottle or umbrella, front pockets, and water-repellent SBS zippers. Rolled down it measures 48 x 34 x 15 cm; unrolled it extends to 56 cm tall. Inateck lists it at 1150 g. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Three things worth knowing before you order. First, Inateck states explicitly that this backpack cannot be attached to a bicycle — the roll-top styling invites the assumption, but there is no rack mount and no bike hardware. Second, the water wording is deliberately modest: Inateck says water-repellent for this model, with splash-proof polyester at the base and water-repellent SBS zippers. That is weaker than the “splash-proof” of its BP03005 travel pack and much weaker than the “waterproof” of its BP06001 bike pack — the wording varies by model on purpose, and no rain cover is supplied. Third, this is the 30-litre / 17-inch variant; Inateck also sells a smaller BP01003-15 at 17 litres for a 15-inch laptop, and the two share a model name. Inateck publishes no fabric composition, no denier and no coating, so any “600D polyester” figure is a reseller invention.
Best For
✓ Carrying a 17″ laptop plus a day’s kit
✓ Students who want one bag for books and a large laptop
✓ Anyone who prefers roll-top weather protection to a zipped lid
✓ Charging a phone from a powerbank without opening the bag
✓ Travel where a 25 L bag can grow to 30 L on the way home
✓ Buyers who want a big laptop bay without a big price
Key Features
A laptop bay that fits a real 17-inch machine
The padded compartment measures 43 x 31 x 3.5 cm internally, which is generous even by 17-inch standards, and there is a separate padded compartment for a tablet up to 11 inches so the two never press against each other.
Roll top, plus a rear zip you will actually use
Rolling the top down closes the bag against rain and lets the volume flex between 25 and 30 litres. When you just need one thing, a rear zip opens directly into the main compartment — the feature that makes a roll-top liveable day to day.
Power-bank pocket and cable pass-through
A dedicated pocket holds a powerbank and a soft rubber-lined port lets a headphone or charging cable out of the bag, so you can charge a phone or listen to music with everything else zipped shut.
Weather-conscious details
Water-repellent film fabric across the main body, splash-proof polyester at the base where the bag meets wet ground, and water-repellent SBS zippers on the openings. Two side pockets take a bottle or umbrella.

Singular Expert Insight
The BP01003 sells on one number: a 43 x 31 x 3.5 cm padded laptop bay, which is a genuinely large compartment at this price, paired with a roll top that lets the bag shrink to 25 litres when you are not carrying much. The rear zip is what makes it work day to day — roll-tops are otherwise slow to get into. Two honest limits. Inateck publishes no material at all, so if you want to know what the fabric is, nobody can tell you, and the water protection is water-repellent rather than sealed. And despite the courier-bag look, Inateck is explicit that it does not attach to a bicycle. If you want a big laptop in a simple, light bag and you are not expecting technical outdoor performance, it is well judged. Browse the rest of our laptop cases and backpacks, or the laptops range if you are matching a machine to a bag.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You carry a 17″ laptop and want a large padded bay in a roll-top bag that flexes between 25 and 30 litres, with a rear zip for quick access, a powerbank pocket and a cable pass-through.
Skip it if
You need a bag for a bicycle — Inateck states this one cannot be mounted — or you want a waterproof pack with a rain cover, a trolley strap, or a published fabric specification.
