The INCA IUSB-04TX is a slim USB-C hub that turns one USB-C port into four USB-A ports: one USB 3.0 at up to 5 Gbps and three USB 2.0, in a shock-resistant aluminium housing on a short attached cable. It is the simplest fix for a modern laptop with only USB-C ports and a drawer of USB-A devices — keyboard, mouse, flash drive, printer. INCA states it is plug and play, with no driver.
Compatibility — check before buying:
USB-C plug only. Despite the IUSB name, this hub plugs into a USB-C port; it will not fit a USB-A socket. For USB-A computers, INCA’s IUSB-03TX or IUTP-5T suit. One fast port: only one port is USB 3.0 — use it for the flash drive or external disk; the other three are USB 2.0 for keyboards, mice and receivers. No charging pass-through, no Ethernet, no HDMI. Several power-hungry drives at once may need a powered hub, since this one runs from the laptop’s port.
