Incase Wired Desktop 600 — Wired Keyboard and Mouse Set, Italian, Black
Quiet-touch keysSpill resistantMedia keysWired USB-A
The Wired Desktop 600 (APB-00034) is one of the longest-serving office sets on the market — and since 2024 it is sold by Incase, designed by Microsoft, after Microsoft licensed its PC accessories line to Incase. Nothing about the product changed: a full-size keyboard with a number pad, thin-profile quiet-touch keys, four media keys, a calculator shortcut and a spill-resistant design, paired with a simple ambidextrous mouse with an 800 dpi optical sensor and a scroll wheel. Both are wired over USB-A, so there is nothing to charge, nothing to pair and nothing to lose. It is the set you buy when the requirement is that it works, quietly, for years. In the box: keyboard, mouse and documentation.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Layout: Italian QWERTY keeps the QWERTY letters but adds accented vowels on dedicated keys and moves most symbols and brackets away from where a US or UK keyboard has them. Choose it only if you type in Italian; for English use in Cyprus ask us for the US or UK version of the same model. This is a wired USB-A set: no receiver, no Bluetooth, no batteries. Because it is wired it does work in the BIOS and in boot menus, which is why IT departments keep buying it. There is no backlight and no palm rest. Incase lists full function on Windows 11 and Windows 10, and limited functionality on macOS (the media and shortcut keys may not all map) — if it is for a Mac, tell us and we will suggest a set built for macOS instead. The mouse is a plain 800 dpi optical shape: fine for office work, not intended for design work or gaming. Incase does not publish the key count, the cable length or a weight for this set.
Best For
✓ Offices buying keyboard and mouse sets in quantity
✓ Shared, public and reception workstations
✓ Machines that need keyboard access before Windows loads
✓ Anywhere a spilled drink is a realistic risk
✓ Quiet rooms where key noise is a complaint
✓ Replacing an ageing set with the same thing, cheaply
Key Features
Quiet-touch keys
Thin-profile keys tuned to be quiet rather than clicky — the reason this set survives in open-plan offices.
Spill resistant
The design that has kept this family in service for over a decade: a knocked-over drink is not the end of it.
Media keys and a calculator key
Play/pause, volume up and down, mute and a calculator shortcut on dedicated keys.
Nothing to charge, nothing to pair
Wired USB-A on both devices: it works in the BIOS, it never runs flat, and there is no dongle to lose.

Singular Expert Insight
This is the set we quote when the brief is "cheap, quiet, wired, and I never want to hear about it again". If the desk needs to be cable-free or the user wants a palm rest, say so and we will point you elsewhere. Browse our keyboards and wireless mice.
