The Intel Ethernet Network Adapter I226-T1 is a single-port 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe card with an RJ45 port and the Intel Ethernet Controller I226, for desktop PCs and workstations that need faster wired networking than the onboard 1GbE port.
It negotiates 2.5G, 1G, 100M or 10M over standard Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat6A cabling and uses a PCIe 3.1 x1 interface, so it fits almost any free PCIe slot, low profile or full height.
Before you order: This is the bulk (BLK) version: plain packaging intended for system builders and IT departments. To get 2.5 Gbps the switch or router port at the other end must also support 2.5GbE.
