Built on Intel's 10nm SuperFin process (Ice Lake-SP), the Xeon Silver 4314 offers a major IPC improvement over the previous Cascade Lake Xeon Silver generation. Its 16 cores and 32 threads make it highly efficient for virtualised workloads where maximising vCPU density matters. Intel AVX-512 provides hardware acceleration for AI inferencing, data analytics, and HPC workloads. The 24 MB L3 cache keeps latency low across all cores under heavy parallel load.
