Intellinet 10-inch Blank Panel 1U — close unused space in small 10-inch cabinets
10-inch1USPCC steelBlack RAL 9005
The Intellinet 714822 is a 1U blank panel for 10-inch network cabinets and racks, made of black SPCC steel, that covers unused rack positions to improve air circulation and give the cabinet a closed front.
It is the small-format version for 10-inch SOHO cabinets; a set of four cage nuts is included for mounting.
Before you order: This panel is 10-inch (270 mm wide). It will not fit a standard 19-inch rack — for 19-inch cabinets choose a 19-inch blank panel.
What's in the Box
- 1 x 10-inch 1U blank panel, black
- 4 x cage nuts
What It Means in Practice
- Closes unused rack spaces so cool air goes through the equipment instead of around it.
- Gives the cabinet a finished, closed front and hides cabling behind empty units.
- Stops small objects and fingers reaching into live equipment areas.
- Install one per empty 1U gap — use several panels for bigger gaps.
What Will Not Work
- Does not fit 19-inch racks or cabinets.
- Covers 1U only — larger gaps need several panels.
- Not a brush or cable-entry panel: cables cannot pass through it.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Blanking panels are the cheapest airflow improvement in any cabinet: without them, hot exhaust air recirculates to the front of the equipment. Fill every empty unit, not just the large gaps. See our rack accessories for brush panels, shelves and cable managers.
✓ Buy it if you have a 10-inch cabinet with empty 1U spaces to close.
✕ Skip it if your rack is 19-inch, or you need to pass cables through the panel.
→ Also consider Intellinet 19-inch 1U blank panels (712675 black, 712385 grey) for full-size racks.
Not sure which size you need? Tell us the rack width (10-inch or 19-inch) and cabinet model and we will check before you order.
