The Intellinet 711432 is a 19-inch, 1.5U rack power distribution unit with six Schuko (CEE 7/3) outlets and a dual (two-pole) circuit breaker, rated 250 V / 16 A. The breaker doubles as the main switch and trips on overload, protecting both the strip and the circuit that feeds it.
It has no surge protection — Intellinet sells it specifically as the "no surge" version for racks already behind a UPS or a protected supply. The black aluminium housing mounts on the front rails, and power comes in through a 1.8 m cable with a Schuko CEE 7/4 plug.
Before you order: The plug and outlets are Schuko. In Cyprus that means a Schuko outlet installed by an electrician or a UPS with Schuko outputs — the strip does not plug into a BS 1363 wall socket, and devices with BS 1363 plugs need CEE 7/4 or CEE 7/7 cords.

What It Means in Practice
- The circuit breaker trips on overload and can be reset by hand — no fuse to replace.
- Two-pole switching disconnects both live and neutral, which is the safer way to isolate the rack for maintenance.
- No surge module: put it behind a UPS, or choose the Intellinet 713962 if the rack is fed straight from the mains.
- The 1.5U height gives more room between plugs than a 1U strip.
What Will Not Work
- Surge or spike protection — this is the no-surge version.
- BS 1363 (UK/Cyprus) plugs — they do not fit Schuko outlets.
- Plugging into a Cyprus BS 1363 wall socket — needs a Schuko outlet or a UPS with Schuko outputs.
- A 1U space — the unit takes 1.5U.
