The Intellinet 712507 is a 19-inch vented cantilever shelf, 2U high and 250 mm deep, that mounts on the front rails only and carries up to 25 kg of static load. It is made of 1.5 mm steel in black RAL 9004, with ventilation slots across the base and raised side walls that keep devices from sliding off.
It is built for wall cabinets and shallow racks without usable rear rails, where a router, modem, fibre ONT or small NVR needs a secure place. The 2U form gives taller side lips, and Intellinet specifies it for racks at least 400 mm deep.
Before you order: This is a 250 mm deep shelf (not 350 mm). Measure your device: anything deeper than 250 mm will overhang the back edge. Your rack must be at least 400 mm deep.

What It Means in Practice
- Mounts to the front rails only, so it works in wall cabinets with no rear rails.
- Vented base lets warm air rise from devices such as routers and ONTs.
- 2U height gives a deeper tray with side walls, useful for devices with cables pulling on them.
- Mounting screws and cage nuts are not listed in the package, so use the rack hardware you have or add a cage nut set.
What Will Not Work
- Devices deeper than 250 mm - choose a deeper shelf.
- Racks shallower than 400 mm.
- Loads above 25 kg or heavy UPS units.
- Grey cabinets if colour matching matters - the same shelf in grey is Intellinet 712217.
