The Intellinet 751025 is a 1 m duplex OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable with SC/UPC on one end and SC/UPC on the other, built on 50/125 µm fibre in a LSZH aqua jacket, 3.0 mm in diameter. It is made for short-reach links in server rooms and buildings with 850 nm SR/SX multimode transceivers on 50/125 µm fibre.
SC is the larger square push-pull connector found on many patch panels, media converters and FTTH ONTs. Both ends are SC, so it connects two SC ports or an SC port to an SC coupler in a panel.
Before you order: This is OM3 50/125 µm multimode. Use it with multimode optics (SR/SX, 850 nm) and match the fibre type already installed — do not mix it with singlemode or 62.5/125 µm OM1 fibre.

What It Means in Practice
- Duplex means two fibres: one transmits, one receives. If the link does not come up, transmit and receive are usually crossed — swap the two connectors at one end (A↔B) or use a coupler with the correct polarity.
- 1 m is the end-to-end length. Measure the route including slack in cable managers and trays before ordering — fibre should never be pulled tight or kinked.
- On OM3, 10GBASE-SR is specified up to 300 m, so a short patch cord like this never limits the link.
What Will Not Work
- It will not work with singlemode or 62.5/125 µm OM1 fibre or with singlemode optics.
- It does not mate correctly with APC (green, angled) ports or couplers.
- It does not plug into LC, ST, MPO ports. If one end of your link is different, tell us the ports and we will match the right cable.
- It is an indoor patch cord, not an outdoor or direct-burial cable.
