Intellinet 712668 — 1U 3-Fan Ventilation Unit with Thermostat for 19" Racks
1U · 19"3 fansBuilt-in thermostatBlack, RAL 9005
The Intellinet 712668 is a 1U 3-fan ventilation unit for 19" racks with a built-in thermostat, moving 95–115 CFM of air to break up hot spots between rack-mounted switches, servers and other equipment — for anyone whose cabinet has no roof fan cut-out or who wants cooling right where the heat is.
It mounts in one rack unit on the 19" rails, is made from 1.5 mm steel with an antistatic powder coating in black (RAL 9005) and runs on 220–240 V mains.
What's in the Box
- 1 × 1U 3-fan ventilation unit with built-in thermostat
What It Means in Practice
- Air is moved inside the rack at the height where you install it, which is useful between heat-producing devices.
- Because it is rack-mounted, it works in cabinets of any brand, including those without a roof fan opening.
- The thermostat lets the fans work according to temperature instead of running permanently.
- It uses only 1U of rack space.
What Will Not Work
- It is not an air conditioner and cannot bring the rack below room temperature.
- It does not fit 10" racks.
- It is not a roof-mount unit.
- It is not designed for 110–120 V mains.

A 1U fan tray is the flexible option when a cabinet has no roof fan opening or when one device runs much hotter than the rest. Make sure the cabinet also has a path for warm air to leave. More cooling accessories are in our rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you want thermostat-controlled airflow inside any 19" rack using 1U.
✕ Skip it if your cabinet supports a roof fan unit and you want to exhaust heat from the top.
