The Intellinet 712378 is a 1U, 19-inch ventilation unit with three fans, 85–90 CFM of airflow and a built-in digital thermostat, for moving warm air out of network and server cabinets where switches, NVRs or small servers are heating the rack.
It mounts in any 19-inch rack or cabinet with the supplied cage nuts and bolts and runs from 220–240 V mains. The thermostat is set with Set, up and down buttons (factory default 21 °C, restorable with the Rst button), and a power switch sits on the left-hand side. The housing is 1.5 mm steel with antistatic powder coating in grey RAL 7035, 258 mm deep.
Before you order: Intellinet does not publish the plug type of the power cord. Cyprus uses UK-type sockets — ask us which plug is supplied before you order if you have no suitable PDU outlet.

What It Means in Practice
- Place it where hot air collects — usually near the top of the cabinet — and set the thermostat so fans run only when needed.
- Noise of 42–49 dB(A) is fine in a comms room but noticeable in a quiet office.
- Only 258 mm deep, so it fits shallow wall cabinets as well as floor racks.
- Needs a free power outlet in the cabinet or a PDU.
What Will Not Work
- Roof-mount installation — this is a 1U front-rail unit.
- 110–120 V power.
- Cooling a sealed cabinet without any air inlet — fans need somewhere for fresh air to enter.
- Remote monitoring or network alarms — the thermostat is local only.
