The Intellinet 561518 (IPI-30G) is a compact single-port Gigabit PoE+ injector that adds up to 30 W of IEEE 802.3at power to an Ethernet link. It is a light, low-cost way to power one access point, IP camera or IP phone from a switch or router that has no PoE.
The power supply is built in and connects to the mains with a power cable. The injector detects compliant devices before it applies power, protects against short circuits, overload above 0.6 A and high voltage, and passes data at 10/100/1000 Mbps with 802.3x flow control.
Before you order: Power is delivered on the data pairs (1/2 positive, 3/6 negative — Mode A). Standard 802.3af/at devices accept Mode A; older passive or non-standard devices may not.
