Intellinet 560566 — 30 W PoE+ in a fanless metal housing
IEEE 802.3at · 30 WGigabitMetal housingWall-mountable
The Intellinet 560566 (IPI-30G2) is a single-port Gigabit PoE+ injector that adds up to 30 W of IEEE 802.3at power to an Ethernet link. It powers one access point, IP camera or VoIP device from a switch or router without PoE, and its metal, fanless housing suits network cabinets and technical rooms.
The power supply is internal and connects to the mains with a power cable. The injector detects compliant 802.3af/at devices before applying power and protects against shorts, overload above 1.8 A and over-voltage above 58 V. Data passes at 10/100/1000 Mbps.
Before you order: Power is delivered on the spare pairs (4/5 positive, 7/8 negative — Mode B). Almost all 802.3af/at devices accept this, but a device that accepts power only on Mode A pairs will not start.
What's in the Box
- 560566 PoE+ injector
- Power cable
- 2 screws with drywall anchors
- Instructions
What It Means in Practice
- Covers most Wi-Fi 6 access points and PoE+ cameras.
- The included screws and anchors allow fixing it to a wall or inside a cabinet.
- A non-PoE device plugged in by mistake only receives data.
- Metal housing and fanless design mean silent, long-life operation.
What Will Not Work
- It does not power 802.3bt (60/90 W) devices.
- It does not output 12 V DC for non-PoE devices.
- It is not a switch: one data input, one data + power output.
- Operating range is 5 °C to 45 °C — not for outdoor enclosures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can it power a Wi-Fi 6 access point?
Yes, for access points within the 802.3at (30 W) class. Check the maximum power in the access point datasheet.
Does it come with a wall mount?
Two screws with drywall anchors are included for wall or cabinet mounting.
What is the difference to the 561518?
Both are 30 W Gigabit PoE+ injectors. The 560566 has a metal housing and Mode B power pairs; the 561518 is a lighter plastic unit using Mode A pairs.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
For a cabinet or technical room, a metal fanless 30 W injector is the durable way to add one PoE+ device to a non-PoE switch. Check the power class of the device first. For devices to power, see our
IP cameras.
✓ Buy it if you need 802.3at for one device and want a robust metal unit for a cabinet.
✕ Skip it if the device needs 802.3bt, or you need PoE on several ports — a PoE switch is more economical.
→ Also consider the Intellinet 561495 95 W PoE++ injector for high-power devices.
